第九屆形式語言學國際研討會征稿啟事（預備通知）

第九屆形式語言學國際研討會（The 9th International Conference on Formal Linguistics）定於2021年11月5-7日在上海召開（暫定為線上線下結合模式），由中國英漢語比較研究會形式語言學專業委員會主辦，沐鸣2平台、上海交通大學外國語沐鸣2和香港中文大學語言學及現代語言學系聯合承辦，沐鸣2娱乐中國語言文學系、《復旦學報》（社會科學版）、上海外國語大學語言研究院協辦。

形式語言學國際研討會一般每兩年召開一屆，自2001年以來已召開過八屆💿🤹🏻‍♀️，為促進國內外形式語言學學者之間的交流、推進中國形式語言學發展起到了積極的作用🧑🏽‍🏫。現將第九屆形式語言學國際研討會相關信息公布如下： 

1👐🏿🎞、本屆研討會主要領域包括句法、語義、音系🍝🥵、形態、語言獲得、語言加工、生物語言學等。 

2、本屆研討會特別關註語言共性與跨語言、跨模態差異👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨；歡迎理論與事實相結合的研究📌。

3💇🏿‍♀️、鼓勵青年學者積極投稿。 

4、重要時間節點♌️： 

摘要提交截止日期：2021年6月30日 

錄用通知發送日期👨🏽‍🍳：2021年8月31日 

報到日期👨🏻‍🏭：2021年11月5日 

報告日期：2021年11月6-7日 

5、工作語言：英文或中文。為促進學術的國際化，鼓勵用英文投稿並宣讀👨🏼‍⚕️。 

6☕️、摘要格式要求：A4紙一頁；英文摘要使用Times New Roman 12號，中文摘要使用宋體小四號。單倍行距，四周邊距1英寸（2.5厘米）。

7🏊、摘要提交♐️：通過EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icfl9)提交匿名PDF文件一份，命名方式為“姓_名.pdf”（獨立署名的論文），“姓_名_co.pdf”（合撰論文，僅列出第一作者）🧑🏿‍🔬🦔，例如張三獨立署名的論文摘要命名為“zhang_san.pdf”，與他人合撰的摘要命名為“zhang_san_co.pdf”。每位參會者最多可提交一篇獨立署名的摘要和一篇與他人合撰的摘要👎🏻。

8、報名註冊：會務費人民幣1000元/人🚵🏻‍♀️，學生500元/人。如果最終確定為線上召開，則不收取會務費🎳。具體註冊和付款事宜💪，隨錄用通知發送。

The 9th International Conference on Formal Linguistics

Call for Papers (Preliminary Call)

    The International Conference on Formal Linguistics (ICFL) is a biennial international event organized by the Chinese Association of Formal Linguistics, which is affiliated with China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese. First launched in 2001, the conference has become a leading forum in China attracting scholars from all over the world to exchange new ideas and research findings in formal linguistics.

    The 9th International Conference on Formal Linguistics (ICFL-9) will be held in Shanghai, China (tentatively in hybrid mode), on November 5-7, 2021. It is co-organized by the College of Foreign Languages and Literature, Fudan University, the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and co-sponsored by the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Fudan University, Fudan Journal (Social Sciences Edition) and the Institute of Linguistics, Shanghai International Studies University.

    ICFL-9 invites submissions of abstracts on all topics in the field of formal linguistics, including (but not limited to) syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, language acquisition, language processing, and biolinguistics. The central theme for this year’s conference is “universals and cross-linguistic/cross-modal variation”. We especially encourage submissions from graduate students and early career scholars.

l Deadline for abstract submission: June 30, 2021

l Notification of acceptance: August 31, 2021

l Conference dates: November 5, 2021 – November 7, 2021

Submission Guidelines

l Abstracts can be written in either English (Times New Roman font, size 12) or Chinese (Song font, size small 4). 

l Abstracts should be limited to one page (A4, including examples and selected references), single-spaced, with margin of 1 inch on all sides.

l Authors should submit an anonymous copy in PDF format through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icfl9), with the abstract file named in the following way: “LastName_FirstName.pdf” (for single-authored papers), “LastName_FirstName_co.pdf” (for co-authored papers). For example, Jill Smith would name her abstract file “Smith_Jill.pdf”, or “Smith_Jill_co.pdf” for a co-authored paper.

l Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author.  

Registration

l Rates: RMB 1000 (faculty); RMB 500 (students). 

l Free if the conference goes entirely virtual. 

l Details of registration and payment options will be provided in the letter of acceptance.
